Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis, also known as RA, is an autoimmune disease whereby the body’s immune system – which normally attacks foreign substances like bacteria and viruses – mistakenly attacks the joints. This results in inflammation, swelling and pain in and around the joints particularly hands, feet, wrists, elbows, knees and ankles. RA is a systemic disease that can also affect body systems such as the cardiovascular or respiratory systems.

At the Neomed Institute, we focus on treating the underlying causes of rheumatoid arthritis while also helping to ease the pain, which is often debilitating for those suffering from this disease. Diet and lifestyle changes are proposed with an additional focus on detoxification, immune modulation and physical rehabilitation.

Our base programme for rheumatoid arthritis takes place over two weeks. This can be extended if deemed necessary by our medical team. The programme includes Ten Pass Ozone Therapy and ground-breaking Papimi therapy, which has had excellent results in treating the pain levels of sufferers.
