✔Excess fat in the waist area. Men have a waist circumference of more than 94 cm. Women have a waist circumference of more than 80 cm.

✔High blood pressure, equal to or greater than 130/85 mm Hg. Art.

✔Elevated fasting glucose level, more than 5.6 mmol/l.
